When was the last time you followed your heart?

Who takes the White Belt? The reasons are individual, but what is common among participants is that they want to feel better every day now and in the future by investing in living well in their bodies and lives. And they know that the Nia program delivers the highest quality of somatic education in body mechanics, movement theory, brain enhancement and emotional coping available today.

What does a day at the White Belt Look like? 

The day is a balanced blend of lecture and experiential exercises for each of the 13 Nia WB Principles—ranging from music, dance, anatomy, choreography and body-centered philosophies. Each day brings either one or two Nia class experiences. All our trainees are encouraged to take the to listen to the needs of their bodies through rest or nourishment. Attendance at all the sessions is required for White Belt certification. Please discuss any scheduling conflicts with Rosanne in advance for possible solutions. 

Sample Day at the White Belt:
8:00 am > Arrival, Preparing for your day and clearing all your distractions.
8:30 am  > Principle 3: Music,  Music theory and listening practice.
9:30 am > Nia Class! The Base: Steps, Stances & Kicks, Let's have some fun!
10:45 am > Principle 4: FreeDance, Let's stimulate your movement creativity.
12:30 pm > Lunch, Nourish and recharge your body and mind.
2:00 pm  > Principle 5: Awareness, Nia's philosophy: new tools to be present in your mind and body. 
4:00 pm > Principle 6: The Base of your Body, Nia anatomy session: look, listen and imagine!
5:30 pm > Clearing the space, Let's step out! What a day --  you are on your way!

After the Training, Every Body Shares!

Become a Nia teacher or ambassador by professionally sharing Nia with your community. Many integrate Nia into their current careers -- or they become inspired to shift to a new calling. Personally, many self-heal and integrate Nia into their lives. They become the inspiration for their family, friends, and communities to live healthier and happier lives. 

Upon completion of the Nia White Belt training, you will become a certified White Belt. If you are interested in teaching Nia, or wish to continue your Nia education, you have the option to join the Nia Livelihood community and become a licensed Nia teacher. 

The Nitty Gritty, What is your investment?

The White Belt is $1599. To register you will sign up directly with Nia Headquarters and pay $799. this holds your spot at the training. The second half is due directly to Rosanne before the training one month before we begin. Since this training is on a speedy schedule I will accept the remainder 2 weeks before the training. The cost of the White Belt includes all of the contact educational hours, program materials, and covers the costs of rental and supplies. This is an investment --- in your body, in your happiness, in your life! 

About The Nia Technique

The Nia Technique was the first to combine dance, martial arts, and healing arts into one fitness program. As is true for all good things in life, it could not be contained on just the dance floor and soon became more than a fitness program, it became a lifestyle program.
